  1. Citizens' Comments.  [The City Council invites citizens to speak to the Council on any topic not on the agenda or not already scheduled for Public Hearing. Prior to the meeting, please complete a "Public Meeting Appearance Card" and present it to the City Secretary. The time limit is three minutes per speaker, not to exceed a total of fifteen minutes for all speakers.]

Presentation of a Proclamation by the Office of the Mayor:

  • Presentation of a Proclamation to Representatives of Girl Scouts of the USA Proclaiming March 12-18, 2012, as "Girl Scout Week."

Presentation of Library Board's Annual Report by Dr. Cindy Briggs, Library Board Chair.

  4. Approve Minutes of the February 28, 2012, Regular Meeting.

Motion Approving the 2012 - 2016 Information Technology Strategic Plan.

Adopt an Ordinance Canceling the May 12, 2012, General Election.

Adopt a Resolution Approving an Amended Investment Policy Governing the Investment of Municipal Funds.
 
  8.

Authorize the City Manager to Execute an Economic Development Incentive Agreement with the Allen Economic Development Corporation Related to the Cabela Drive Acceleration Lane.

 
  9.

Ratify the City Manager's Execution of a Four-Year Lease Agreement for Computer Equipment with Hewlett-Packard Financial Services Company in the Principal Amount of $220,019 Plus $13,820.80 in Interest and Personal Property Tax for a Total Amount of $233,839.80.
