  1. Citizens' Comments.  [The City Council invites citizens to speak to the Council on any topic not on the agenda or not already scheduled for Public Hearing. Prior to the meeting, please complete a "Public Meeting Appearance Card" and present it to the City Secretary. The time limit is three minutes per speaker, not to exceed a total of fifteen minutes for all speakers.]

Presentation of Proclamations by the Office of the Mayor:

  • Presentation of a Proclamation to Haleh Hekmat with The Turning Point Rape Crisis Center of Collin County Proclaiming April 2013 as "Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month."
  • Presentation of a Proclamation to Representatives of the Allen Police Department Proclaiming April 7 - 13, 2013 as "Animal Control Officers Appreciation Week."
  • Presentation of a Proclamation to Representatives of the Allen Police Department Proclaiming April 14 - 20, 2013 as "Public Safety Telecommunicator's Week."

Presentation of Planning and Zoning Commission's Annual Report by Robert Wendland, Chairperson

Approve Minutes of the March 26, 2013, Regular Meeting.
 
  5. Motion to Reappoint Mr. James Kerr to the North Texas Municipal Water District Board as a Representative for the City of Allen for a Two-Year Term Effective June 1, 2013, through May 31, 2015.
 
  6.

Award Bid and Authorize the City Manager to Execute a Contract with EEC Enviro Service Company, LLC, in the Amount of $58,200 for the Municipal Court and Parks & Recreation Building Chiller Replacement Project and Establish a Project Budget in the Amount of $90,000.

 
  7.

Award Bid and Authorize the City Manager to Execute a Contract with Central North Construction in the Amount of $283,671.94 for the East Bethany Drive Project Landscaping and Establish a Project Budget of $340,000.
